ZAHRA GOLAFSHANI
WRITER/ DIRECTOR
Zahra Golafshani is a Los Angeles based, award-winning, Iranian-Canadian writer and director. She received her BFA degree with Honours from the Motion Picture Arts program at Laurentian University in Canada and recently completed her MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Amongst her body of work her accolades include: several consecutive nominations for three of her short films in many festivals, multiple awards at Cinefest Subury International Film Festival, and monetary prizes from both BravoFAct and Northern-Ontario Provincial funds for her short film Bullet- Headed (2014).
MATHIEU SÉGUIN
CINEMATOGRAPHER
is a Canadian cinematographer. He has served as camera operator and crane operator on various feature films over the past five years. His most recent short film JENNA, a French-Canadian co-production, will have its world premiere at the HOF International Film Festival in Germany. In addition, his feature-length film SAVAGE TALES OF FRANK MACGUFFIN is currently in its final stages of post-production and will soon be hitting the festival circuit.
KRISHNA SANCHEZ
EDITOR
Krishna graduated from West Los Angeles College, with an AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences. He worked as editor for the music video “Shri Radhe" from the Grammy Nominated album “Bhakti Without Borders”. He edited Krisztina Danka’s documentary short, THE STOLEN RIVER. The film was accepted into 10 film festivals, winning 4 awards. Last summer he completed work as editor and DP on John Griesser's feature documentary, HARE KRISHNA!, the film was accepted into five film festivals and won Grand Jury Prize at the Illuminate Film Festival, now playing in theaters worldwide.
